2013 Annual Meeting
We are preparing for the Texas State Historical Association 2013 Annual Meeting and need your help!
Get Involved! Volunteer at Annual Meeting!
Annual Meeting will be held February 28- March 2 at the The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel. We are recruiting volunteers to help with several phases of the event, and hope you will give of your time to benefit the Texas State Historical Association. We need at least 20 volunteers to make this another successful event. We need volunteers to help with silent auction registration, registration, setup, packing up, and greeting attendees throughout our three day event. Your help is appreciated and you will have a great time!
How to Volunteer
Please download and complete the Volunteer Form and return it to Texas State Historical Association by February 2, 2013. If you have any questions, please call Susan Manuel at (940) 369-5200 or email to susanmanuel@tshaonline.org. Return the form by email, fax (940) 369-5248 or mail to TSHA, 1155 Union Circle #311580, Denton TX 76203.
Please check in with the registration desk prior to the start of your shift. Dress will be business casual or khakis and a TSHA T-shirt. All volunteers will receive a complimentary TSHA T-shirt and a one-day admission to the sessions.

Volunteer Opportunities
- Exhibitor Set Up: 1:45 pm – 6:30 pm (assisting with unloading and set up)
- Registration: 7:45 am – 12:30 pm (Greet attendees, assist with directions)
- Registration: 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm (Greet attendees, assist with directions)
- Auction Check In: 7:45 am – 12:30 pm (Check in participants, security)
- Auction Check In: 12:30 pm – 5:30 pm (Check in participants, security)
- Bus Loading; 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm (ticket taking, directing)
- Registration; 7:45 am. – 12:30 pm (Greet attendees, assist with directions)
- Registration: 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm. (Greet attendees, assist with directions)
- Auction Check In: 7:45 am – 12:30 pm (Check in participants, security)
- Auction Check In: 12:30 pm – 5:30 pm (Check in participants, security)
- Live Auction: 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm (Check in participants, security)
- Auction Closing: 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm (mark final bids, bundle winning bids)
- Registration: 7:45 am – 12:30 pm (Greet attendees, assist with directions)
- Auction Check-out: 7:45 am – 12:30 pm (assist guests with pickup)
- Packing Up: 11:30 am – 2:30 pm (assist staff with packing up)
