Touchstone is the undergraduate research journal of the Walter Prescott Webb Historical Society, the college-level educational program of the Texas State Historical Association. Published annually,
its primary focus is the publication of college students' research on Texas history. It also includes articles by Webb Society sponsors on pedagogy in the area of Texas history. Touchstone is published in March each year. Correspondence concerning contributions and all editorial matters should be addressed to the TSHA Educational Services Division. Documentation of sources for Touchstone articles is in accordance with the style adopted by the Texas State Historical Association for the Southwestern Historical Quarterly.
