We would like to offer our sincere congratulations to Katie Lemmon, who won the 2008 Texas History Day T-Shirt Design Contest on this year’s theme, “Conflict and Compromise in History.” Katie is a student at Communications Arts High School in San Antonio, and her teacher is Heidi Whitus. Katie’s two-sided design appears to the right.
The t-shirts with Katie ’s design will be on sale at Texas History Day on May 3-4, 2008, in the first floor lobby of the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum.
