AUSTIN ANTI-QUAKER. The Austin Anti-Quaker, a newspaper that may have been published only once, on March 12, 1842, appears to be a successor to the San Antonio Alarm Bell of the West. The date of publication and title of the papers seem to indicate that they were established to advocate opposition to a peaceful policy in Mexican relations.
