AUSTIN DAILY BULLETIN. The Daily Bulletin, published at Austin between November 27, 1841, and January 18, 1842, was a small, two-column, four-page paper that appeared daily except Sunday at a subscription rate of $1.50 a month. The Bulletin, printed at the office of the Austin City Gazetteqv and edited by Samuel Whitingqv and briefly in 1841 by Charles DeMorse,qv contained notes on proceedings of the House of Representatives, editorial comments, and a few local-interest items. A paper also called the Austin Daily Bulletin was published daily except Sundays in 1936 by the United Publications of Texas and on Sundays as the Austin Sunday Review.
