ANDERSON, SIMEON ASA (?-?). Simeon Asa Anderson, one of Stephen F. Austin'sqv Old Three Hundred,qv received title on August 10, 1824, to a league of land now in Fayette County. The census of Austin's colony of March 1826 listed him as a farmer and stock raiser aged between twenty-five and forty; his household consisted of his wife, a son, two daughters, and a slave. Anderson wrote Austin in May 1826 that he had had no opportunity to see him but was making arrangements to pay for his land.
