ALLENDALE, TEXAS (San Patricio County). Allendale was centered around the home and store of George Allen, two miles south of the site of present-day Aransas Pass in eastern San Patricio County. A school built there in the early 1870s existed until at least 1910. After it was closed and the city of Aransas Pass expanded, Allendale disappeared.
