ALABAMA CREEK. Alabama Creek rises two miles south of Centerville in east central Trinity County (at 31°10' N, 95°02' W) and flows southeast for twelve miles to its mouth on the Neches River, two miles northeast of Alabama (at 31°09' N, 94°51' W). The stream is intermittent in its upper reaches. The surrounding terrain is flat to rolling and surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports conifers, water-tolerant hardwoods, and grasses.
