BRADLEY, EDWARD R. (?-?). Edward R. Bradley, one of Stephen F. Austin's Old Three Hundred colonists, received title to a league of land now in Brazoria County on August 10, 1824. The March 1826 census reported that he lived with his wife, Elizabeth, four sons, and two daughters and was over fifty years old. He may have been the E. R. Bradley of Gonzales County who was delinquent in taxes owed the Republic of Texas in 1840. BIBLIOGRAPHY: Lester G. Bugbee, "The Old Three Hundred: A List of Settlers in Austin's First Colony," Quarterly of the Texas State Historical Association 1 (October 1897). Texas Sentinel, June 17, 1841.
