BLACK JACK, TEXAS (Robertson County). Black Jack is a small rural community located at the junction of Farm roads 2549 and 391 about four miles east of Hearne in south central Robertson County. The settlement probably began by the early 1900s. During the 1930s highway maps showed Black Jack School and a church in the community. The school closed sometime in the mid-1900s, and Black Jack remained a dispersed community. The population was forty-five in 2000.
