CALLIHAN, MOSIS A. (?-?). Mosis A. Callihan (Morris Callahan) was a partner of Allen Vince^qv as one of Stephen F. Austin's^qv Old Three Hundred^qv colonists. The pair received title to a league of land now in Harris County on August 3, 1824. Callihan probably died before September 30, 1825, for about that date Humphrey Jackson^qv wrote Austin that Nicholas Callahan, the brother of Morris Callahan, deceased, was getting a power of attorney from his father to settle the estate.
