CALLIHAN, MOSIS A. (?-?). Mosis A. Callihan (Morris Callahan) was a partner of Allen Vinceqv as one of Stephen F. Austin'sqv Old Three Hundredqv colonists. The pair received title to a league of land now in Harris County on August 3, 1824. Callihan probably died before September 30, 1825, for about that date Humphrey Jacksonqv wrote Austin that Nicholas Callahan, the brother of Morris Callahan, deceased, was getting a power of attorney from his father to settle the estate.
