CASTILLO, DIEGO DEL (?-?). Captain Diego del Castillo led an expedition with Capt. Hernán Martínqv from Santa Fe in 1650 to explore north central Texas by order of Gen. Hernando de Ugarte y la Concha, governor of New Mexico.
