CATTAIL CREEK. Cattail Creek rises six miles southeast of Cuero in southeastern DeWitt County (at 29°01' N, 97°16' W) and runs northeast for 4½ miles to its mouth on the Guadalupe River, four miles north of Arneckeville (at 29°03' N, 97°14' W). It runs through flat to rolling terrain surfaced by clay loam that supports scrub brush, grasses, and cattail bushes.
