CADDO PEAK. Caddo Peak is 1½ miles northwest of Joshua in north central Johnson County (at 32°28' N, 97°24' W). The brown sandstone hill, located near the Santa Fe Trail,qv bears inscriptions chiseled into its face, some dating back to 1836. It rises to a height of 1,065 feet above mean sea level.
