DULL, TEXAS. Dull, also known as Nettaville, was 3½ miles southeast of Los Angeles on the San Antonio, Uvalde and Gulf Railroad in northeastern La Salle County. The community was named for the Dull Ranch, which had once encompassed a large part of La Salle County, including the townsite. Dull was established in 1912 and was granted a post office the next year. In 1915 the name of the post office was changed to Nettaville; it closed in 1919, but the community of Dull was shown on maps of La Salle County as late as 1965.
