EARLYWINE, TEXAS. Earlywine is on Rocky Creek and State Highway 105, six miles from Brenham in east central Washington County. It was named for the Wren community's nineteenth-century postmaster, John W. Earlywine. The Harris Spring Church is in the Earlywine vicinity. The 1984 county highway map showed two businesses at Earlywine.
