EAGLE CREEK (Nolan County). Eagle Creek rises four miles north of the Coke county line and ten miles northwest of Blackwell in southwestern Nolan County (at 32°09' N, 100°31' W) and runs southeast for sixteen miles to its mouth on Oak Creek, a mile southwest of Blackwell in far northeastern Coke County (at 32°04' N, 100°20' W). It traverses flat terrain with locally shallow depressions, surfaced by expansive clays that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
