EAGLE CREEK (Harrison County). Eagle Creek rises five miles northwest of Harleton in northwestern Harrison County (at 32°42' N, 94°39' W) and runs south for five miles to its mouth on Little Cypress Bayou, three miles east of the Gregg county line (at 32°38' N, 94°39' W). The surrounding nearly level to hilly terrain is surfaced by loams and clays that support dense patches of pine and hardwood trees. The land is used predominantly for timber production.
