EAGLE MOUNTAIN (Tarrant County). Eagle Mountain is in the northwestern corner of Tarrant County (at 32°54' N, 97°27' W). It rises 150 feet above the surrounding terrain, and the Eagle Mountain School is located at its foot. The Eagle Mountain Dam has been built in sections separated by Eagle Mountain and Burgess Gap. Eagle Mountain Reservoir, in Tarrant and Wise counties, was named for the mountain.
