FOREST GROVE, TEXAS (Collin County). Forest Grove is on Farm Road 1378 six miles south of McKinney in south central Collin County. It was settled about 1858 on White Rock Creek and served as a church and school community for area farmers. Its population was reported as twenty in 1990.
