FIREMEN'S TRAINING SCHOOL ADVISORY BOARD. The Firemen's Training School Advisory Board, first established in 1931, has nine members, who represent the industrial sector, Texas A&M University, the Texas Forest Service, and the State Firemen's and Fire Marshals' Association of Texas. The board, an adjunct of the Firemen's Training School, has advisory duties only; they are concerned with the type and quality of training in the annual firemen's training courses and in the year-round training services offered at Texas A&M University.
