GILBERT, SARAH (?-?). Sarah Gilbert apparently was not in Texas early enough to be listed in the census of March 1826; but, as one of Stephen F. Austin's Old Three Hundred colonists, she received title to a league of land now in Wharton and Fort Bend counties on May 11, 1827.
