GREEN VALLEY, TEXAS (Guadalupe County). Green Valley was a rural school community about six miles northwest of Marion in western Guadalupe County. In 1904, thirty students attended a one-teacher school there. By 1946 Green Valley had a school and a few scattered houses. Its school was consolidated with the Schertz-Cibolo district by the 1970s. There was no evidence of the community on the 1985 county highway map.
