GASTON, TEXAS (Trinity County). Gaston was near Centerville in north central Trinity County. Between 1884 and 1931 the site was known by different names, including Gaston Church White School District 6 No. 5, Gaston Church Community School 21, and Gaston District 21. In 1904-05 the school had one teacher and thirty students. Gaston later was consolidated with the Centerville Independent School District.
