GREEN CREEK. Green Creek rises just east of Bunyan in western Erath County (at 32°12' N, 98°22' W) and runs southeast for twenty miles to its mouth on the North Bosque River, a mile east of Clairette (at 32°02' N, 98°07' W). It traverses generally flat terrain with local shallow depressions, surfaced by clay and sandy loam soils that support water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses.
