HOME VALLEY, TEXAS. Home Valley was probably near what is now Falls City in Karnes County. It was established as a post office, which operated from 1860 to 1866 with William E. Canfield as postmaster. Home Valley could have been a successor to the community of Marcelina, since the Canfield family was known to have lived close to the San Antonio River above Falls City, close to Marcelina.
