HACKLEY CREEK. Hackley Creek rises 5½ miles southwest of Gainesville in south central Cooke County (at 33°32' N, 97°11' W) and runs southeast for 4½ miles to its mouth on Scott Creek, four miles west of Burns City (at 33°31' N, 97°07' W).
