HOG CREEK (Falls County). Hog Creek rises six miles north of Rosebud in southern Falls County (at 31°09' N, 96°58' W) and runs southeast for seventeen miles to its mouth on Pond Creek, two miles south of Baileyville in northern Milam County (at 31°01' N, 96°50' W). It traverses flat terrain with local shallow depressions, surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
