INDIAN CAMP CREEK. Indian Camp Creek rises two miles east of Stephenville in eastern Erath County (at 32°15' N, 98°10' W) and runs northeast for three miles and then southeast for five miles to its mouth on Richardson Creek (at 32°17' N, 98°04' W). Near the creek's source the terrain is flat to rolling with local escarpments and is surfaced by shallow clay loam. Near the stream's mouth the terrain changes to steep slopes and benches surfaced by mostly deep fine sandy loam. Juniper, live oak, brush, and grasses grow in the area.
