INDIAN CREEK (Coleman County). Indian Creek rises northwest of Coleman in north central Coleman County (at 31°56' N, 99°31' W) and runs east for fourteen miles to its mouth on Jim Ned Creek (at 31°55' N, 99°19' W). The stream is dammed 4½ miles north of Coleman to form Lake Scarborough. There is fishing in the creek, which runs through locally flat terrain surrounded by rolling hills. The local clayey and sandy loam soils support water-tolerant hardwoods and grasses.
