JEHOY, TEXAS. Jehoy, also known as Jonestown, was near State Highway 71 ten miles southeast of Austin in southeastern Travis County. In 1880 a post office opened there with William C. Jones as postmaster. The office was discontinued in 1882, and mail for the community was sent to Garfield. BIBLIOGRAPHY: John J. Germann and Myron Janzen, Texas Post Offices by County (1986).
