LAKE ARROWHEAD STATE PARK. Lake Arrowhead State Park is a 524-acre, multipurpose recreation area located at the north end of Lake Arrowhead, a 16,200-acre lake in western Clay County, ten miles southwest of Henrietta on Farm Road 1954. Established in 1970, when the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department purchased the land from Wichita Falls for $50,000, the recreation area provides facilities for camping, picnicking, boating, skiing, and fishing.
