LAKE ARROWHEAD RANCH ESTATES, TEXAS. Lake Arrowhead Ranch Estates is a community located on the eastern and western sides of Lake Arrowhead about ten miles southwest of Henrietta and near Lake Arrowhead State Park in western Clay County. The residential development began sometime after the construction of Lake Arrowhead in the mid-1960s with the sale of lake lots. In 1980 the community had a population of seventy-five, and that figure had increased to 250 in 2000. Lake Arrowhead Ranch Estates supports a volunteer fire department and offers emergency services. The community also has a Baptist church. Bait shops cater to the area's fishermen.
