LIVE OAK, TEXAS (Guadalupe County). Live Oak was four miles north of Marion in western Guadalupe County. In 1904 thirty-four students attended a one-teacher school there. Live Oak had a school and a few scattered houses in 1952; by the 1970s the school had been consolidated with the Marion school district. There was no evidence of the community on 1985 county highway maps.
