MYER BRANCH. Myer Branch rises in north central Grayson County (at 33°42' N, 96°40' W) six miles northwest of Sherman and just west of the Grayson County Airport and runs west for six miles to its mouth (at 33°43' N, 96°44' W) on Harris Creek in the Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge 8½ miles northwest of Sherman. The stream is intermittent in its extreme upper reaches. It traverses flat to rolling prairie, surfaced by dark, commonly calcareous clays that support mesquite trees and various grasses. The area has served as range and crop land.
