MACHO CREEK (Webb County). Macho Creek rises thirteen miles north of Bruni in eastern Webb County (at 27°37' N, 98°50' W) and runs southeast for forty-four miles to its mouth on Los Olmos Creek, seven miles east of Concepcion in southeastern Duval County (at 27°24' N, 98°19' W). It traverses flat to gently rolling terrain with local shallow depressions and escarpments, surfaced by clay and sandy loams that support water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, brush, and grasses.
