NADAMIN INDIANS. The Nadamin Indians are known only from the late seventeenth century, when they were identified in records of the La Salle expedition as allies of the Kadohadacho Caddos. J. R. Swanton suggested that the Nadamins may have been the same people as the Sadammo Indians, but this does not seem reasonable. In the expedition documents the Nadamins were listed as allies of the Kadohadachos, whereas the Sadammo (Caitsodammo) Indians were listed as enemies. The identity of the Nadamin Indians remains undetermined.
