OLMOS PARK, TEXAS. Olmos Park is off U.S. Highway 281 four miles north of downtown San Antonio in central Bexar County. It incorporated in the 1940s and reported a population of 1,822 in 1940 and 2,813 in 1950. The number of inhabitants has declined slowly since that time, falling to 2,250 in 1970 and 2,161 in 1990.
