OAK HILL, TEXAS (Hood County). Oak Hill is a residential community located off Farm Road 2580 about five miles northwest of Granbury in north central Hood County. Development of the subdivision near Lake Granbury probably began in the 1970s. Highway maps sometimes referred to the area as Oak Hills. No population estimates were available until 2000 when the community reported 247 residents.
