OAK RIDGE CITY, TEXAS. Oak Ridge City is a narrow strip of land stretching five miles along both sides of State Highway 34 between Kaufman and Terrell in central Kaufman County. It was incorporated during the early 1970s and had an estimated population of 154 in 1975. The population was 247 in 1980 and 268 in 1990.
