PIN OAK, TEXAS. Pin Oak is a small rural community located in eastern Milam County four miles northwest of Gause on Farm Road 2095. The school at Pin Oak, which had thirty-two students in the 1930s, was consolidated with the Milano Independent School District in 1949; the building was moved and converted into a residence. A cemetery marked the community on county highway maps in 1988. No population estimates for Pin Oak were available.
