POESVILLE, TEXAS. Poesville was 11½ miles east of Meridian and forty miles northwest of Waco in eastern Bosque County. The estimated population of Poesville in 1939 was twenty, and in 1945 the community sustained about fifty residents and two businesses. Population estimates were no longer recorded after 1947, and Poesville did not appear on the 1984 Bosque County highway map.
