PAW PAW CREEK. Paw Paw Creek rises (at 33°45' N, 96°31' W) a mile northwest of Red Branch in extreme northwestern Grayson County and runs northeast for 1½ miles to its mouth (at 33°46' N, 96°30' W) on a finger of Lake Texoma, two miles northeast of Dexter. The local terrain is flat to rolling and is surfaced by sandy and clay loams that support mixed hardwood and pine trees.
