PAINT HORSE DRAW. Paint Horse Draw rises seven miles west of Loneman Mountain in central Culberson County (at 31°23' N, 104°33' W) and runs northeast for fifteen miles to its mouth on Cottonwood Creek, nine miles northeast of Dome Hill (at 31°30' N, 104°22' W). It traverses steep, rocky terrain surfaced by shallow stony soils and shallow to moderately deep clay and sandy loams that support live oaks, piñons, junipers, scrub brush, and grasses.
