QUEENS CREEK. Queens Creek rises in northern DeWitt County (at 29°19' N, 97°13' W) two miles northwest of Yoakum and runs southwest for 4½ miles to its mouth (at 29°16' N, 97°16' W) on McCoy Creek, three miles southwest of Hochheim. It traverses flat to rolling terrain surfaced by highly permeable soils that support scrub brush and prairie grasses.
