QUIL MILLER CREEK. Quil Miller Creek rises just north of Wooded Hills in northern Johnson County (at 32°27' N, 97°20' W) and flows northeast for just over eight miles before emptying into Village Creek two miles northeast of Burleson in southern Tarrant County (at 32°33' N, 97°17' W). The stream, intermittent in its upper and middle reaches, flows over low-rolling to flat terrain surfaced by sandy and clay loams that support scrub brush, cacti, and grasses. Throughout its history, the Quil Miller Creek area has been used as range and crop land.
