SUGARLOAF MOUNTAIN (El Paso County). Sugarloaf Mountain is a mile northwest of the intersection of Alabama Street and Fred Wilson Road in northwestern El Paso County (at 31°50' N, 106°28' W). At an elevation of 5,350 feet above sea level, the peak rises 1,150 feet above Alabama Street. Shallow, stony soils support scrub brush and grasses.
