TEXAS STATE PAPER. The Texas State Paper, a semiweekly newspaper, was published by Trigant and Pace in Galveston from late July or early August 1845 until early 1846. The paper was issued by Samuel Bangs. The title indicated the paper's purpose-encouragement of annexationqv-and the journal probably ended as soon as annexation was accomplished.
