TALLAHONE CREEK. Tallahone (Talahone) Creek, also known as Walnut Creek, rises in southwestern Roberts County (at 35°38' N, 101°00' W) and flows north for nineteen miles to its mouth on the Canadian River (at 35°57' N, 100°57' W). The stream passes through flat terrain, where clay and sandy loam soils support grassy vegetation.
