VALLEY FORD, TEXAS. Valley Ford was near a ford on the Blanco River on a country road three miles south of Farm Road 2325 and eighteen miles northwest of San Marcos in western Hays County. It had a rural school. In the 1940s there were several scattered dwellings at the site, but in the 1980s all that remained at the site was a cemetery.
